Demons are far more common than most people think! We must all “put on the full armor of God,” so we may “stand firm against the schemes of the Devil” (Ephesians 6:11). As early as childhood, they shoot temptations at us. If we give in, we may form roots of bitterness that produce bad fruit in our lives. Inner healing involves repentance and forgiveness in tandem with the gift of discernment of spirits. It can free us from bitter roots and the demons that take advantage of them.
